A historic coalition of animal welfare organizations from 15 countries has officially formed to combat the proliferation of animal torture content on social media and online platforms. Feline Guardians Japan is proud to be a founding member of this international alliance.

Coalition Objectives

1. Platform Accountability: Pressure social media companies to strengthen content moderation 2. Rapid Response: Coordinate quick identification and removal of harmful content 3. Legal Action: Support prosecution of content creators and distributors 4. Public Awareness: Educate users on how to report animal abuse content 5. Technology Solutions: Develop AI tools to automatically detect animal cruelty content

The coalition includes organizations from Japan, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, Canada, Netherlands, Sweden, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Brazil, Spain, and Italy.

Initial Success

Within the first week of formation, the coalition has: - Flagged and removed over 2,000 pieces of animal abuse content - Established 24/7 monitoring protocols - Created a shared database of known offenders - Initiated contact with major tech platforms

Technology & Innovation

The coalition is investing in artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to automatically detect and flag animal cruelty content before it spreads. This proactive approach will significantly reduce the trauma of having to manually review such disturbing material.
