Please Help Us Get Answers for Jieyang's Stray Dogs
By Feline Guardians Japan
On June 28, children at a primary school in Jieyang, China are reported to have burned and killed stray dogs and puppies. No disciplinary action has followed. Feline Guardians Japan is asking the education authority to investigate, and you can help with a single email.
On June 28, 2026, something terrible happened in Xinheng Town, Jieyang City, in Guangdong, China. A group of children from Pingpu Primary School are reported to have acted together to abuse and kill stray dogs, burning them and torturing puppies to death. The footage spread all over Chinese social media.
So many people were shocked and angry. And yet, it seems nothing has been done, and no one has been held responsible. That silence is why we are speaking up, and why we are asking you to speak up with us.
Yes, they are children. But that is exactly why we cannot look away. When cruelty like this is ignored, we fail the animals who suffered, and we fail these children too. They should not be left alone with what they did. They need to be investigated, guided, and held to account, together with their parents and their school. This is what we are asking the Jiedong District Education Bureau to do: confirm what happened, give the children proper guidance and education, meet with their parents, and review how the school teaches respect for life, mental health, and the law.
Please add your voice. It only takes one copy and paste. We have prepared an email (in Chinese, with English and Japanese translations) to the Jiedong District Education Bureau. Please send it to bgs3264647@163.com, and CC jyj8724223@163.com. You can find the ready-made templates in the "SchoolBoyAbsrs" highlight on our Instagram, @feline_guardians_japan. Every single email tells them the world is watching, and that this case cannot be quietly closed.
Thank you for standing with us. Their lives matter.
